Presidium’s JTB Apartments Recognized for ‘Best Multifamily Housing Complex’ by the Southeast Building Conference

Presidium’s first Jacksonville-area development receives Silver Award from the 2020 Aurora Awards Design Competition

Presidium, a diversified real estate development, investment and management firm has received the Silver Award from the Southeast Building Conference’s (SEBC) annual Aurora Awards program for ‘Best Multifamily Housing Complex.’ JTB Apartments is a 350-unit community designed to complement an upscale lifestyle located adjacent to the highly-desirable St. Johns Town Center in Jacksonville, Florida. From overall design to sustainability, the 41st annual Aurora Awards program recognizes outstanding builders, planners, architects, developers, designers, interior merchandisers and other housing-related professionals.

“Close enough to everywhere you want to be, while just far enough away to escape the day-to-day bustle, JTB is about balancing life’s moments from a modern perspective. This award is a direct reflection of the great team of people who played a pivotal role in bringing this vision to life,” said Mark T. Farrell, President of Development at Presidium.

This luxury project was developed by Presidium along with co-developers Killashee Investments and Schmidt Development. The project was designed by Dwell Design Studio and built by LandSouth Construction. Connolly and Wicker served as the civil engineering firm, Dix, Hite + Partners as the landscape architect and Greystar as the property management firm.

Presidium’s JTB Apartments offer visibility and direct access to retail, office, entertainment and dining on-site and in the surrounding community. The apartment homes are best-in-class with 9’ ceilings, upscale finishes, 42-inch European-style cabinets, quartz countertops and energy efficient stainless-steel appliances. The community amenities include a state-of-the-art business center, an 11,000-square-foot industrial chic clubhouse including a fireplace, bar, demonstration kitchen, game room and café lounge with large-screen TVs and a fully-equipped gym with a fitness studio.

JTB’s outdoor amenities include a resort-style swimming pool, lap pool, fire pits, an outdoor bar area, grills, bocce ball court, ping pong tables and lounging cabanas.
