Models 427/429 and 421/423 have been designed, tested and approved to meet the strict wind load requirements of Miami-Dade and Broward Counties in Florida

December 10, 2018 – Overhead Door™ brand, one of the leading manufacturers of garage doors and operators for residential, commercial and industrial applications, has expanded its wind load rated door offerings with the introduction of four new commercial sectional steel garage doors.  These new models, 421, 423, 427 and 429 are designed for durability and strength to help protect the building envelope during extreme high wind events. Each door is approved for use in Florida’s High Velocity Hurricane Zone (HVHZ) in accordance with the test standards in Miami-Dade County, Florida. Notices of Acceptance are (NOA) 17-1207.08 and NOA 17-1207.09 (expirations, November 1, 2023).
