October 10, 2018 – Bánh Mì Station, a fast-casual restaurant specializing in the popular Vietnamese street food, is now hiring for all positions, including cooks, cashiers, shift leaders and catering drivers at the Sylvan | Thirty location. Dating back to the 1950s, the bánh mì sandwich is a fusion of Vietnamese and French ingredients made with techniques that came about during the French colonization of the region. An assortment of meat, including five-spice pork belly, smoked pulled pork, grilled lemongrass chicken and Viet-style duck confit, will be served on toasted baguettes or steamed buns with pickled carrots and daikon, cucumber, cilantro, garlic aioli or handcrafted sauce. In addition, Bánh Mì Station will offer various sides, such as fries (order them Viet-style with pulled pork, roasted peanuts, sriracha, hoisin, garlic, aioli and cilantro), kale slaw and red curry mac and cheese, along with Vegan dishes and soft serve ice cream.
