In case you haven’t heard, Twitter is beta testing a new 280 character limit. Here is the scoop:

  • There is no rhyme or reason as to who is getting new limit. Twitter has selected a random “single digit percentage of users.”
  • It’s only available on desktop. Users can’t use it on mobile or scheduling services…yet.
