A Balancing Act

The work/life balance, believe it or not, can peacefully coexist with one another. How? The more time you take for yourself outside of work, the more productive you will be during your work day (and vice-versa). PR Daily runs over the basic how-to’s of achieving this balance in the PR industry.

First tip: use a timer. Identify the priorities on your list and then set a timer to help you stay on task.

It is safe to say that all of us in public relations spend hours a day in front of a screen. So when you finally make it to the destination on top of your bucket list, what is the first thing that you do? Are you one of many who still checks your work email on vacation?

The Washington Post says that 62 percent of travelers say they plan to check their work-related email and voicemail, while 37 percent say they completely unplug.
