Now, it’s looking like the social media giant is busting in on LinkedIn’s domain as well with a jobs feature. Facebook cites that “40% of U.S. small businesses report that filling jobs was more difficult than they expected.” It wants to make it easier for these businesses to interact with its 1 billion users to find potential employees.

Organizations can easily create a job post and track applications as users apply directly through the platform—simple, straightforward and Facebook said companies are already having success! We predict a lot of PR agencies taking advantage of this in the near future.

Snuggle Up With This Campaign Strategy

Get out a pen and paper because you’ll want to take notes on Snuggle’s ability to create successful engagement campaigns. For Valentine’s Day, the fabric softener brand initiated a “Snuggle Serenade campaign” in which people created their own videos of the brand’s mascot, Snuggle Bear, singing to their Valentines. Snuggle promoted the campaign mostly through their social media channels and successfully navigated through other mass web chatter about the Super Bowl and Grammy’s to rack up 72,000 video submissions. As PR professionals, we always have to be ready to capture a quality looking image on the spot, and it’s cool to see that you can do so by simply pressing a button on your phone. Yes, we know the iPhone 7 Plus isn’t cheap and can cost even more than some professional cameras. However, you still have to admit it’s an extremely convenient way to take good-looking photos on the go.
