Top-performing spray foam manufacturer revamps Heatlok XT closed cell spray foam insulation to enhance sprayability, making each application count
Arlington, Texas, June 3, 2016 – Demilec, one of North America’s largest manufacturers of spray foam products, introduces the newest version of its bestselling Heatlok XT closed cell spray foam insulation – Heatlok High Lift. The enhanced product significantly increases the sprayability by allowing up to four inches of foam to be applied in one pass, saving time and reducing the need to have multiple passes to achieve the required insulation thickness or R-value set by the building code.
“With the low exothermic reaction of our Heatlok XT formula, it only made sense to create a version of the product to spray at greater thickness, allowing our customers to spray faster and make each application count,” said Tom Harris, Vice President of Technology at Demilec. “Our products continually perform to meet high standards set by industry codes, and we are always seeking new innovations to meet those standards with efficient and sustainable solutions.”
Like Heatlok XT, Heatlok High Lift is comprised of 22 percent renewable and recycled content. With its high-performing green components, it can earn commercial and residential projects up to ten LEED certification points.
Demilec will continue to offer both Heatlok XT with its increased yield and Heatlok Soy 200 Plus with its high R-value of 7.4 at 1 inch, giving contractors a wide range of choices for their customers’ needs.
