Top Local Team Bolsters Office Project Leasing Efforts Industrial Brokerage Team also Adds Two New Market Leaders

HOUSTON – August 15, 2013 – Cassidy Turley, a leading commercial real estate services provider in the U.S., announced today that it is continuing its growth trajectory in Houston with the hiring of two local commercial real estate veterans, John Pruitt and Jessica Ochoa. Additionally, the firm has added two market leaders, Patrick Rollins and Joseph Smith, to Cassidy Turley’s Houston Industrial brokerage team.

Mr. Pruitt and Ms. Ochoa will serve as Executive Managing Director and Senior Vice President, respectively, and will help lead the firm’s Houston Office Project Leasing practice. The duo joins the firm’s Houston Project Leasing team and will be instrumental in the development and expansion of Cassidy Turley’s Houston platform and its investor services offerings.

Prior to joining Cassidy Turley, Mr. Pruitt and Ms. Ochoa were Executive Vice President and Vice President, respectively, at CBRE. Mr. Pruitt brings to Cassidy Turley 28 years of experience in metro Houston office leasing, and, while at CBRE, he successfully closed more than 3,500 office lease transactions with an aggregate value of more than $1.5 billion

Additionally, Ms. Ochoa specialized in the marketing and leasing of office properties at CBRE and was responsible for a portfolio encompassing 2.5 million square feet in the Houston metro area for both redevelopment projects and speculative office developments.

Mr. Pruitt has been named “Who’s Who in Commercial Real Estate Brokerage Firms” by Houston Business Journal. While at CBRE he received numerous leadership and performance awards, including achieving a “Number One Ranking” in 1998 and multiple annual “Top Ten Rankings” for the firm. He is a member of the Houston Board of Realtors, Houston Office Leasing Brokers Association and Society of Industrial and Office Realtors Designation (SIOR). He is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of Houston.

Ms. Ochoa is a member of NAIOP. She also chaired CBRE’s Hispanic Networking Group, and is a graduate of the University of Houston.

Mr. Rollins and Mr. Smith joined Cassidy Turley in Houston as Senior Vice Presidents in the Industrial Tenant Representation division.  They will support Senior Managing Director John Nicholson in the development of Cassidy Turley’s industrial brand in Houston and in procuring new clients and assignments. Mr. Rollins and Mr. Smith were most recently First Vice President at CBRE where they specialized in both tenant and landlord representation
