Details:           Mayor Rawlings, several City Council members, presidents of West Dallas & Oak Cliff Chambers of Commerce and other local dignitaries on hand to celebrate the start of construction for Sylvan | Thirty.

Mayor Rawlings has called Sylvan | Thirty a “catalyst” for future development in West Dallas.

Sylvan | Thirty is a $50-million mixed-use development that will bring a much-needed organic grocer to the area, along with restaurants, local retailers, a bank, a coffee shop, a butcher and artisan bakery. Sylvan | Thirty is expected to serve as a hub for the West Dallas and North Oak Cliff communities.

Statistics:

  • $50-million mixed-use development on 6.34 acres in West Dallas/North Oak Cliff
  • 49,134 square feet of commercial space (retail & restaurants)
  • 201 lofts and studio apartments, many with views of downtown and the new Calatrava-designed Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge
  • Development partners: Oaxaca Interests & Wood Partners, both Dallas-based.
  • General Contractor: Spring Valley Construction, also Dallas-based.
  • Announced tenants include Cox Farms Market (farm-fresh/organic grocer), Matador Meat & Wine, Teiichi Sakurai’s fish market, Pearl Cup Coffee, Sync Yoga and a restaurant incubator.
