Sylvan | Thirty hires local architectural interior design firm Paul Duesing Partners

Dallas-based interior designer will bring world-renowned expertise to North Oak Cliff/West Dallas mixed-use development’s residential areas

Dallas, July 5, 2012 – Sylvan | Thirty, the highly anticipated mixed-use development currently under construction at the crossroads of North Oak Cliff and West Dallas, has hired Dallas-based interior designer Paul Duesing. Duesing and his team will primarily focus on the common areas throughout the Sylvan | Thirty’s residential areas, including the interior of the model unit, the main lobby and the amenity center. The interior design firm will be working closely with Wood Partners, a well-respected national real estate firm specializing in high density and mixed-use communities, who signed on as co-developers of the Sylvan | Thirty project last December.

“Paul and his design team have an unparalleled reputation in the hospitality industry that spans more than 25 years. They are considered pioneers in bringing an lifestyle-focused approach to properties on a unique, personal scale,” says Brent Jackson, president of Sylvan | Thirty developer Oaxaca Interests. “We chose Paul and his team because they always stay true to the local environment in their approach and understated style, no matter where the work may be. His attention to all aspects of the project, even down to the smallest of details, and his use of local artisans and materials shows his commitment to our neighbors and to those who will ultimately choose to live at Sylvan | Thirty.”

“It’s important to us to create sophisticated, site-specific designs that mirror the neighborhoods and communities surrounding each of our projects. We will to use as many indigenous materials and works by local artists as we can to reflect and respect the heritage and potential of West Dallas and North Oak Cliff,” said Duesing.

This will be Paul Duesing Partners’ first multi-family project in Dallas. The firm has created numerous successful projects all over the world, including Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, Park Cities, Utah, and Mukul and Guacalito, Nicaragua. They have also amassed a roster of hospitality clients such as The Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons and The St. Regis.
