Local entrepreneur opens franchise staffing and job placement office to help boost local economy and put Tulsa-area residents to work

Tulsa, Okla., July 6, 2012 – Snelling has expanded its national staffing services and job placement firm into Oklahoma with the opening of its first location in the state in Tulsa. Local entrepreneur Josh Roper will serve as general manager and franchise owner of the Tulsa office.

“With the economy growing, I really wanted to open a business that helps people find the right careers for their skill sets. Whether it’s just starting a career or transitioning into a new field, I see this as a way to actively do my part to boost the Tulsa economy and help put my neighbors back to work,” said Roper.

Roper sees the local energy industry, with its strong presence in the region but aging workforce, as an opportunity for growth for his staffing and job placement services. He also hopes to expand his office’s expertise to including medical staffing for local doctor’s offices, hospitals and laboratories.
