Daltile featured in “Esquire Magazine’s” 2010 ‘Esquire House’ in the Hollywood Hills

The Esquire House transforms Los Angeles home into the ultimate bachelor pad

DALLAS, October 14, 2010 – Many of Daltile’s most stylish glass and porcelain tiles are featured in Esquire Magazine’s 2010 “Esquire House” in the Hollywood Hills of Los Angeles, which opens tomorrow for a circuit of charity parties and tours. The contemporary home, which is currently on the market for $18.9 million, was transformed by a team of high-profile designers to create the ultimate bachelor pad for the ultimate Esquire gentleman.

In addition to the typical trappings of home, the over-the-top Esquire House includes a music room, media room, recording studio, a virtual reality room (where visitors can simulate flying, among other things); and a multitude of outdoor entertaining areas with sweeping views of Los Angeles, a Zen garden and fire-spewing fountain.

Daltile products featured in the 2010 Esquire House include San Michele in the powder room; Reflective Elements, Kimona Silk and Timber Glen in various bathrooms; and Timber Glen in the outdoor Zen Garden with stunning views of the city below.

As part of Daltile’s ongoing public relations efforts, the company seeks product placement opportunities in popular home improvement and design television programs on Discovery Channel, DIY Network, HGTV, A&E, and most notably ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, as well as high-profile showcase homes produced by national magazines, such as Southern Living, Esquire and Better Homes & Gardens.
