Dal-Tile Corp. named No.1 ceramic tile brand in “Builder” magazine’s Annual Brand Use study

 

Dal-Tile Corp. takes top ceramic tile spot in national survey of nearly 11,000 homebuilders

 

DALLAS, April 26, 2010 – Dal-Tile Corp., the largest U.S. manufacturer and distributor of ceramic tile and natural stone, was named the No.1 brand in the ceramic tile category in the 2010 BUILDER Brand Use Study. The BUILDER Brand Use Study is the only brand research available that surveys homebuilder’s familiarity, use, preference and quality perception across 81 product categories. With 10,800 homebuilders surveyed, the study is the largest builder research study in the industry.

Dal-Tile Corp. placed first in all four survey areas for ceramic tile: brand familiarity, brand use in past two years, brand used most overall and highest quality rating. Full results of the survey were published in the April 2010 issue of Builder, the magazine of the National Association of Home Builders.
